- Selected as Competency Lead for the collaboration practice of the
Vignette Professional Services organization.
- Led several sessions at Vignette
Village (customer
conference) and numerous technical sessions at company wide conferences.
- Implemented over 200 enterprise wide deployments of Collaboration
software over 5 years, including Vignette’s own internal collaboration site.
- Received “All Star” award for personal contribution second and fourth
quarters 2004, and won a spot in “club” trip to Nevis, Caribbean
for overall contribution 2004.
PROJECT MANAGER, Intraspect Software

Hired to start the deployment group, a new part of the Professional Services organization specializing in the business and technical aspects of customer activation. As Project Manager, led several million dollars of small ($80k – $500k) deployments.

- Created new service offerings in the areas of Change Management, Needs
Analysis, and Collaboration Consulting. Created Marketing and Sales collateral
for new service offerings.
- Created numerous white papers for technical aspects of product
installation such as integration with e-mail, fault tolerant installations,
network staging and integration, LDAP integrations, security setup. Led
multiple communications efforts for methodology such as hardware sizing
guidelines.
- Assumed role of generic project manager as company downsized from 210
to 55 employees. Led most of Intraspect’s most sophisticated installation
projects including virtually all projects involving major integrations with
third party software such as Onyx CRM, Net Perceptions recommendation engine,
and ExtenTech for integration with Microsoft Excel. Survived final buyout and
moved to Vignette as part of acquisition in December 2003.
- Led business analysis / requirements gathering
phase for numerous projects relating to methodologies, including software
development methodologies, Stage-Gate implementation methodology, Marketing
Campaign project methodology, Sales Opportunity management, Six Sigma, and numerous
customer-specific Professional Services methodologies.
