Participated in unique internship program in an attempt to minimize government cutbacks and prove NASA’s value to American economy by transferring technology to American companies. Led one of three interdisciplinary teams to perform market opportunity analyses on product concepts using NASA patents.
Participated in unique internship program in an attempt to minimize government cutbacks and prove NASA’s value to American economy by transferring technology to American companies. Led one of three interdisciplinary teams to perform market opportunity analyses on product concepts using NASA patents.
- Evaluated over 40 patents from legal and technical perspective by
reading patents and interviewing NASA engineers. Led brainstorm sessions with
interdisciplinary team to generate product concepts. Supervised team in performing market opportunity
analyses of said concepts.
- Approached several lead engineers in major American corporations for
further evaluation of patent’s technology and concept feasibility. Met with several local venture capitalists to
help determine market feasibility.
- Developed ideas for products resulting in two companies potentially licensing NASA technology.
