Led Professional Services team of this start-up Messaging firm throughout first round funding. Developed methodology and procedures for performing email migrations as part of BroadWord’s service offering.
- Created methodology and procedures for all functions of Professional
Services department including initial customer engagement, pre-sales support,
discovery investigations, migration project logistics, and customer support
practices.
- Designed email migration lab and supervised System engineers for
implementation and maintenance of migration lab. Lab contained InterMail,
Exchange 5.5, and SendMail servers; Windows 98, Windows NT Workstation, Linux
5.0 and Macintosh clients; and a simulation of Internet DNS. Over 16 email
software combinations were tested for migration from source systems to
BroadWord’s InterMail system.
- Supervised migration to production of both customers acquired in 2000. Proven successful track record with pre-sales support of 16 active prospects. Volunteered after BroadWord lost funding to migrate production two customers back to their own private email systems.
